REACH stands for Realizing Every Action Creates Hope, an acronym chosen by our teens a dozen years ago. We highlight the “Action” with many service events in our community, primarily aimed at our senior citizens and young children.
REACH meets most Sunday nights from September (the Sunday after Labor Day) through May (the Sunday before Memorial Day) in the Church Hall. These meetings start at 6:45PM and end around 9PM. Our meeting format includes the following:
- Structured fun and games
- Event planning
- Faith and value sharing
- Break for refreshments.
We have many events planned for this season including the following:
- Car wash fundraisers in September and May
- Overnight retreat in October
- Leaf raking for the elderly in November
- Operation Christmas Child in November
- Rock-a-thon fundraiser in early December
- Caroling and Christmas party in December
- Reach for your Heart fundraiser in late January / early February
- Easter Egg Hunt in late March
- Senior Bingo in late April
Here is a chance to expand your involvement in the parish community and meet your service hour requirements, while having a good time doing so. We’ll have food, fun and great discussion while we plan our many community service events. For more information, please call Mike Regan 860-274-0603.
